IPL auction: 16 players placed in the marquee list

The IPL auction 2018 players list is finally out and 578 players were selected to go under the hammer in Bengaluru during January 27 and 28.  This year 1,122 players had registered for the auction. A total of 16 players were placed in the marquee list with a base price of Rs 2 crore.

 Krunal Pandya, Gautam Gambhir, Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Manish Pandey, Kedar Jadhav and Yuvraj Singh were among the top Indian players up for grabs in IPL auction 2018.

Under-19 skipper Prithvi Shaw, Shubhman Gill, Manan Vohra, Vijay Shankar and Deepak Hood were at the top in franchises’ list. 

The other important players who entered the IPL auction 2018 were Dwayne Bravo, Kieron Pollard, Faf du Plessis, Quinton de Kock, Hashim Amla, Colin Munro, Tim Southee, Angelo Mathews and Rashid Khan.

Chennai Super Kings retains Dwayne DJ Bravo for Rs 6.4 crore and Yuvraj Singh was sold to kXIP for Rs2 crore, among others.
