Infosys, Cipla among key stocks hogging limelight in Wednesdays trade
Overnight, US stocks fell on Tuesday as a sharp escalation in the trade dispute between the United States and China rattled markets and put the Dow Jones Industrial Average back in negative territory for the year. However, S&P 500 futures edged slightly higher, rising 0.05 per cent.
The Sensex and Nifty are expected to extend losses for the third straight session on Wednesday going by the negative trend on SGX Nifty. However, stocks in Asia rebounded from recent losses as investors sought bargains, a day after the specter of a US-China trade war drove down bond yields, and share and commodity prices.
At 7:50 am, SGX Nifty was trading at 10,723.50, down 3 points or 0.03 per cent.

Cipla: Cipla has received final approval for its Abbreviated New Drug Application (ANDA) for Efavirenz Tablets 600mg from the United States Food and Drug Administration (US FDA). Cipla's Efavirenz Tablets 600mg is AB-rated generic therapeutic equivalent version of Bristol-Myers Squibb Pharma Company's, Sustiva.
Oberoi Realty: Oberoi Realty has raised Rs 1,200 crore via issue of shares through a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP), the Mumbai-based realty developer said in a regulatory filing. The company has issued 2.40 crore shares at Rs 500 per piece, which is at a discount of Rs 9.29 per share to the floor price of Rs 509.29 per share determined as per the formula prescribed under SEBI ICDR regulations.
Infosys: Infosys said it has set up a Digital Centre of Excellence in Marseille to strengthen its footprint in France. With an initial capacity of 60 employees, the centre aims to attract and train talent in new digital technologies to meet increasing demand from clients, Infosys said in a statement.

TCS: Country's largest software services firm Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has set up a new delivery centre in Suresnes, France that can accommodate up to 230 employees. The centre, located in the Parisian region, is the third such unit of TCS in France after the facilities in Lille (opened in 2012) and Poitiers (2014).
Wheels India: The board meeting of Wheels India is scheduled to be held on June 22, 2018. The company has now announced that the Board of Directors of the Company may consider Issue of bonus shares in the aforesaid board meeting.
