Amid huge demand for trains for going home from passengers ahead of the Diwali festival, Indian Railways has announced special express train between Delhi and Indore. This weekly special train will make a total of eight rounds between the cities.

From the national capital, the proposed Indore-Delhi-Indore weekly special express (09302) train will start its first journey from Delhi's Sarai Rohilla railway station on Monday (October 29) at 2.30 pm. The special train will run between October 29-19 November. From Indore (09301), this train will run between 28 October-18th November. It will make its first journey from Indore on 28th October at 7.20 am and reach Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 01.20 am. 

The special train between Delhi Sarai Rohilla and Indore will have two AC 2 tear, four AC 3 tear, seven Sleeper and two general coaches. The train will make halts at Fatehabad, Vadnagar, Ratlam Junction, Mandsaur, Neemuch, Chittorgarh, Bhilwara, Vijayanagar, Naseerabad, Ajmer Junction, Kishangarh, Fulera Junction, Kanakpura, Jaipur Junction, Gandhinagar Jaipur, Getore Jagatpura, Dausa, Bandikoi, Alwar, Rewadi, Gurgaon and Delhi Cantt. 

Humsafar Express between Udaipur City and Patliputra

The Indian Railways has announced it will run a weekly Humsafar Express between Udaipur City and Patliputra. This train has started running on every Wednesday from Udaipur City at 12.20. It reached Patliputra at 09.15. During the return journey, the Humsafar Express runs from every Friday at 00.10 from Patliputra and reach Udaipur City at 08.20. The train had 16 AC 3-tear coaches. It stops at Mawli, Chanderia, Boondi, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Bharatpur Junction, Achhnera, Mathura Junction, Hathras City, Kasganj, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur Central, Lucknow, Sultanpur, Varanasi, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay (Mughalsarai), Buxar, Ara and Danapur.
