Official sources in Nagpur told IANS that the flight, 6E-636, returned from the taxiway after the pilot made an announcement asking all passengers to deboard.

The passengers were awaiting an alternative arrangement by the airline, but details of the technical `defect` in the aircraft were not known.

The aircraft, an A-320, was reportedly carrying around 143 passengers, and the aborted take-off was due to an `indication error`.
