Indian Railways to run special trains to clear extra passenger rush: Check routes, date, time, other details

Indian Railways has announced a few more special trains to clear the post-Holi rush. The railways had earlier announced several special trains to cater to the high demand on account of Holi. The trains will be connecting national capital Delhi to various places in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana and West Bengal. Check out the details below:

1. Train 05535/05536 Barauni - Anand Vihar T - Barauni Express Special train (Single Trip in Each Direction) (Total 06 Trips)

The 05535 Barauni - Anand Vihar T. Express Special Train will depart from Barauni on 23.03.2019 (single trip) at 11.30 a.m. to reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 12.10 p.m. the next day. In the return direction, the 05536 Anand Vihar Terminal - Barauni Express Special Train will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal on 24.03.2019 (single trip) at 02.30 p.m. to reach Barauni at 02.00 p.m. the next day.

Comprising of two AC three-tier , thirteen sleeper class, three general class  & two disabled friendly second class cum luggage van coaches, the 05535/05536  Barauni - Anand Vihar Terminal - Barauni Express Special Train will stop at Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Sonpur, Chhapra, Siwan, Deoria Sadar, Gorakhpur, Basti, Gonda, Barabanki, Lucknow, Bareilly & Moradabad  stations enroute in both the directions.

2. Train 03429/03430 Malda Town - Anand Vihar Terminal - Malda Town  Special Train (via Sultanpur) (02 Trips)

The 03429  Malda Town - Anand Vihar Terminal  Special Train will depart from Malda Town on 25.03.2019  at  09.05 a.m. to reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 02.10 p.m. the next day. In the return direction, the 03430 Anand Vihar - Malda Town Terminal  Special train will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal on 26.03.2019  at  05.10 p.m. to reach Malda Town at 01.30 a.m. on 28.03.2019.

Comprising of one AC II Tier, four AC III Tier, seven Sleeper Class, six General Class & two disabled friendly second class cum luggage van coaches, 03429/03430 Malda Town - Anand Vihar Terminal - Malda Town  Special train will stop at New Farakka, Barharwa ,Sahibganj, Kahalgaon, Bhagalpur, Sultanganj, Jamalpur, Abhaipur, Kiul, Mokama, Bakhtiyarpur, Patna, Ara, Buxar, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn, Varanasi, Sultanpur, Lucknow, Bareilly, Moradabad & Ghaziabad stations enroute in both the directions.

3. Train 03483/03484  Malda - Delhi Jn.- Malda  Special Train (via Sultanpur) (02 Trips)

The 03483 Malda – Delhi Jn. Special Train will depart from Malda on 29.03.2019  at  07.10 p.m. to reach Delhi Jn. at 02.30 a.m. on 31.03.2019. In the return direction, the 03484   Delhi Jn. - Malda  Special train will depart from Delhi Jn. on 31.03.2019  at  09.40  p.m. to reach Malda at 07.05  a.m. on 02.04.2019.

Comprising of one AC II Tier, three AC III Tier, nine Sleeper Class, seven General Class & two disabled friendly second class cum luggage van coaches, 03483/03484  Malda - Delhi Jn.- Malda  Special  train will stop at New Farakka, Barharwa, ,Sahibganj, Kahalgaon, Bhagalpur, Sultanganj, Jamalpur, Abhaipur, Kiul, Mokama, Barh, Bakhtiyarpur, Fatuha, Patna, Danapur, Ara, Buxar, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay Jn., Varanasi, Sultanpur, Lucknow, Kanpur, Tundla, Hathras, Jn. & Aligarh stations enroute in both the directions.

4. Train 02365/02366 Patna- Anand Vihar Terminal- Patna Superfast Holi Special train (02 trip)

The 02365 Patna-Anand Vihar Terminal Superfast Holi Special train will depart from Patna on 24.03.2019 at 08.25 pm to reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 02.20 pm the next day (1 trip). In the return direction, the 02366 Anand Vihar Terminal- Patna Superfast Holi Special train will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal on 25.03.2019 at 06.35 a.m. to reach Patna at 12.45 pm the next day (1 trip).

Comprising of one AC 2 Tier, four AC 3 Tier, eight Sleeper Class,  besides second class cum luggage van coaches, the 02365/02366 Patna- Anand Vihar Terminal- Patna Superfast Holi Special train will stop at Ara, Buxar, Pandit Din Dayal Upadhayay Junction, Allahabad and Kanpur stations enroute in both the directions.

5. Train 05533 Saharsa- Ambala- Jansadharan Exp Holi Special Train (One Sided - 02 Trips)

The 05533 Saharsa- Ambala Jansadharan Holi Special train will depart from Saharsa at 07.00 pm on 23.03.2019 & 24.03.2019 to reach Ambala at 00.15 a.m. on the third day (02 trips). 

Comprising of 18 General Class Coaches,the 05533  Saharsa- Ambala Jansadharan Holi Special train will stop at Simri Bhakhtiyarpur, Mansi, Khagaria, Hasanpur Road, Samastipur, Muzaffar Pur, Bapudham Motihari, Sagauli, Bettiah, Narkatiganj, Bagaha, Gorakhpur, Basti, Gonda, Sitapur Cantt, Bareilly, Moradabad & Saharanpur  stations enroute.

6. Train 05541 Drabhanga-Ambala-Jansadharan Exp.  Holi  Special Train (One Sided- 02 trips)

The 05541 Darbhanga-Ambala Jansadharan Holi special train will depart from Darbhanga at 03.00 pm on 23.03.2019 & 28.03.2019 to reach Ambala at 07.00 pm the next day (02 trips). 

Comprising of 18 general Class  & two second class cum luggage van coaches, the  05541 Drabhanga-Ambala Jansadharan Holi special train, will stop at Kamtaul, Janakpur Road, Sitamarhi, Bairagnia, Raxual, Narkatiaganj, Bagaha, Gorakhpur, Basti, Gonda, Sitapur Cantt, Bareilley, Moradabad & Saharanpur stations enroute.

7. 03237/03238 Patna- Kota- Patna Holi Special Train (02 Trips)

The 03237 Patna- Kota Holi Special train will depart from Patna at 05.30 pm on 24.03.2019 to reach Kota at 05.30 pm the next day. In the return direction, the 03238 Kota- Patna Holi Special train will depart from Kota at 07.00 pm on 25.03.2019 to reach Patna at 05.15 pm the next day.

Comprising of one First AC,one AC  two-tier, two AC three-tier , twelve sleeper class, five general class  & two disabled friendly second class cum luggage van coaches ,the 03237/03238  Patna- Kota- Patna Holi Special train will stop at Ara, Buxar, Pandit Din Dayal Upadhayay Junction,  Varanasi, Sultanpur, Lucknow, Kanpur, Kashganj, Mathura, Bharatpur & Sawai Madho Pur   stations enroute in both the directions.
