Indian Railways Recruitment 2019: The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) through a notification has sought applications for the recruitment of 4,329 Apprentice posts allotted for various Units (Divisions/ Workshops) across the country. Interested candidates can apply for these post should check the eligibility criteria on the NRF's official website: www.nfr.indianrailways.gov.in, and download the form.
Candidates are advised to submit their application in the prescribed format along with required certificates through registered post. The last date for submission of the application form is December 31, 2018.

Educational qualification: Those who are interested must have passed 10th/ ITI/ equivalent from any recognized board/ university/ institution.
Age limit: The candidates should be in the age group of 15 to 24 years as on November 11, 2019.
The candidates will be selected on the basis of merit.
Notably, Northeast Frontier Railway consists of five divisions of Tinsukia, Lumding, Rangiya, Alipurduar and Katihar. These divisions are directly responsible for train operations and reports to General Manager. Each of these divisions is headed by Divisional Railway Manager, a Senior Administrative Grade officer of the rank of Joint Secretary to Government of India.
