Indian Railways Recruitment 2018: A notification by the Central Railway has invited applications for the positions of Senior Residents on its official website: cr.indianrailways.gov.in. Interested candidates will have to face walk-in interview for the said position on October 22, 2018. The notification has clarified that the contract of appointment for Senior Residents will be for one year, and it cannot exceed the maximum period of three years subject to renewals. The termination of contract can be done on one month notice or pay from either side.
 
The selected candidates will be provided unfurnished accommodation if available, but they will not be allowed to do their private practice. Further, the candidates will also be called upon to perform any additional duties in the interest of Railway Administration including Railway accidents and National progamme etc.
 
Vacancy Details: The Central Railway will recruit 4 Senior Residents for Job Location in Mumbai.
 
Qualification Details: Senior Residents with post graduate Degree will get a pay of Rs 26950 (Basic) + Rs 6600 (Grade pay), Pay Band- 3 (Rs 15600-Rs39100) along with other relevant allowance as per the Railway Board’s guidelines issued from time to time.
 
Post Graduate Degree /MD/MS/DNB or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a university recognized by state/Central Government.
 
Age Limit: For candidates with post Graduate qualification, the age limit is 33 years.
