Indian Railways introduces new travelling rules from today; see what they are
More coaches will be added on Rajdhani and Shatabdi.
The Indian Railways will implement changes in its existing rules and regulations from Wednesday which will help the passengers, said a Zee report.
From refund on tatkal tickets to confirmed ticket facility, here's how travelling in trains will be a new experience from tomorrow:
-- Firstly, from tomorrow the passengers will get 50% amount refunded on cancellation of tatkal tickets.
-- From tomorrow no need to get up early to book tatkal tickets. Now, tatkal window for AC coach will open between 10am to 11am and for sleeper coach the window will be open from 11am to 12pm.
-- From tomorrow, Railways will start booking tickets on various language.
-- No more premium trains from June 1.
-- Passengers will get half refund on cancellation of suvidha train tickets.
-- No more waiting list for Suvidha trains. only confirmed tickets will be issued and RAC passengers accomodation.
-- More coaches will be added on Rajdhani and Shatabdi
-- 50% refund of fare on cancellation charge, Rs 1oo for airconditioned-II tier/first class, Rs 90 for air-conditioned III-tier/3 economy/airconditioned chair car and Rs 60 for sleeper class will be granted.
