Indian Navy Recruitment 2019: Applications invited for 53 vacant positions of Observer, Pilot and Other Posts

Indian Navy Recruitment 2019: Indian Navy has sought applications from aspirants for Short Service Commission (SSC) in Executive Branch (Pilot/Observer entry) and Education Branch, and also for Permanent Commission (PC) in Executive Branch (Logistics Cadre) from unmarried eligible male candidates for the course commencing from January 2020 at the Indian Naval Academy Ezhimala, Kerala. Candidates are advised to check details given on the official website prior to submitting their application.
Interested candidates can apply for the said post through the online mode on or before April 5, 2019. Aspirants should register and fill application on the Indian Navy's official recruitment website- www.joinindiannavy.gov.in between March 16 and April 5, 2019.
While filling up e-application, candidates are advised to keep the relevant documents readily available for correct filling up of personal particulars. Details should be filled up as given in the Matriculation Certificate.
Fields such as e-mail address, mobile number are mandatory and must be filled. If any scanned document is not legible/ readable for any reason, the application will be rejected.
Candidates should take a printout of the finally submitted online application for future reference. They must carry application form and original certificates/documents while appearing for SSB interview.
Vacancy details for Indian Navy Recruitment 2019 include Observer – 6 Posts; Pilot (MR) – 3 Posts; Pilot (Other than MR) – 5 Posts; Logistics – 15 Posts; and Education – 24 Posts.
Eligibility for Observer, Pilot and Other Posts
Candidates applying for Observer, Pilot (MR), Pilot (Other than MR) should hold a degree of B.E./B.Tech Degree in any discipline (with Physics & Maths in 12th standard).
Candidates applying for Logistics should hold a degree of BE/B.Tech in any discipline with First Class or MBA with First Class or B.Sc / B.Com / B.Sc.(IT) with First class and a PG Diploma in Finance / Logistics / Supply Chain Management / Material Management or MCA / M.Sc (IT) with First Class.
Those who would apply for Education must be BE/B.Tech/M.Sc./MA
Important note:
1.Only unmarried candidatesare eligible to undergo training. A candidate who is found to be married or marries while under training will be discharged and shall be liable to refund full pay and allowances drawn by him/her and other expenditure incurred on the candidate by the government.
2. Candidates will be on probation for a period of two years which will commence from the grant of the rank of Sub Lt and will terminate after two years or on completion of theirinitial training (whichever islater). During probation they are liable to be discharged if their performance is unsatisfactory on professional/ medical/disciplinary grounds.

3. Candidates who fail to qualify the flying training (Pilots / Observers) will not be retained in service.
