Key Indian equity indices on Monday morning opened higher following mixed global cues.
The 30-scrip Sensitive Index (Sensex), was trading 183.98 points or 0.73% higher during the morning session.
The wider 51-scrip Nifty of the National Stock Exchange (NSE) was also trading 48.65 points or 0.63% higher at 7,782.10 points.
The Sensex of the BSE, which opened at 25,321.83 points, was trading at 25,412.48 points (at 0916 hours) in the early session, higher 183.98 points or 0.73% from the previous day's close at 25,228.50 points.
The Sensex touched a high of 25,416.88 points and a low of 25,302.86 points in the trade so far.
