Indian Army recruitment 2018: Eligibility criteria
Soldier (general duty): Class with 45% marks
Soldier technical: 10+2 in Science
Soldier Technical (Aviation/Ammunition Examiner):10+2 in Science or three years diploma in Engineering (Mechanical/ Electrical/Automobiles/ Computer Science and Electronic and Instrumentation Engineering.
Soldier Nursing Assistant/Nursing Assistant veterinary: 10+2 in Science or Bsc degree (Botany/Zoology/ Bio-Science)
Soldier Clerk /Store Keeper Technical/Inventory Management: 10+2 or graduate
Soldier Tradesman: 10th/ITI
Indian Army recruitment 2018: Age limit
Candidates applying for the post of soldiers (general duty) should be between 17 1/2 years and 21 years. For others, age should be between 17 to 23 years.

Selection of the candidates would be through written examination followed by physical measurement and a medical examination.
