Delhi is set to host the India vs South Africa 3rd ODI match today, October 11. In view of the match, the Delhi Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory for the smooth movement of vehicles on the roads near the venue of the match -- Arun Jaitley Stadium. Besides, the DMRC has also extended the last Metro train timings to ferry people.

According to the traffic advisory, no heavy vehicles and buses shall be allowed on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, Delhi Gate to JLN Marg, Daryaganj to Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg, and Guru Nanak Chowk to Asaf Ali road. 

The city traffic police have advised people to avoid following roads from 11:30 AM to 11 PM:

-Raj Ghat to JLN Marg

-JLN Marg from R/A Kamla Market to Raj Ghat.

-Asaf Ali Road from Turkman Gate to Delhi Gate.

-Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg from Ram Charan Aggarwal Chowk to Delhi Gate

There will be diversion of traffic for half an hour before the match as well as after conclusion of the match.

Entry to the Arun Jaitley Stadium:

-Gate No. 1,2,3,4,5,6 & 7 are located on the Southern side of the stadium & entry to
these enclosures are from Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg.

-Gate No. 8,9,10,11,12,13,14 & 15 are located on the Eastern side of the Stadium on the
road and entry are from JLN Marg next to Ambedkar Stadium Bus Terminal

-Gate No. 16,17 & 18 are located on the Western side of the Stadium & entry is from Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg near Petrol Pump.

Delhi Metro Timings Extended:

The DMRC has changed the metro timings on Tuesday in view of the match. The last train timings have been extended to facilitate the spectators of the ODI match by about 30 to 45 minutes on all lines, barring the Airport Express line.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation on Monday tweeted, "#DelhiMetro has made minor changes in its last train timings to facilitate the spectators during One-Day International Cricket match between India & South Africa on 11th October 2022 (Tuesday) at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Ferozshah Kotla Ground, New Delhi. Best wishes to team India."
