4:08pm: Skipper Kohli, who is inching towards his 44th ODI century after scoring 88 runs in 85 balls, is alone taking the fight against formidable Australia after India lost shreyas Iyer on 35.
2:30 pm: India lose both openers in quick succession. Mayank Agarwal lost his wicket to Pat Cummins at 28 runs (26 balls), while Shikhar Dhawan's wicket was grabbed by Josh Hazlwood. 11:06 am: Australia lost its two set batsmen in quick succession. Aaron Finch was caught by Virat Kohli while attempting high flying shot of Mohammad Shami delivery at 60 runs off 69 balls, while quikest of the two, David Warner, was run out by Shreyas Aiyer.
Earlier, Australia won the toss and opted to bat first against India in the second ODI at the Sydney Cricket Ground here on Sunday.
After winning the toss, Asutralia was was strongly placed at 51 runs in 8.1 overs. David Warner was leading the attack with 37 runs in 29 balls, while Aaron Finch was playing cautiously by scoring 12 runs of 21 balls.
