4:45 pm: All eyes on Pandya and Ravindra Jadeja after Rahul departs after scoring 76 runs. Pandya was batting at 24 runs. India at 291/5 after 44 overs.   

4:14 pm: Kohli departs at 89 runs off 87 balls. Lokesh Rahul is joined by new batsman Hardik Pandya. India at 243/4 after 38 overs 

4:08pm: Skipper Kohli, who is inching towards his 44th ODI century after scoring 88 runs in 85 balls, is alone taking the fight against formidable Australia after India lost shreyas Iyer on 35.   

2:30 pm: India lose both openers in quick succession. Mayank Agarwal lost his wicket to Pat Cummins at 28 runs (26 balls), while Shikhar Dhawan's wicket was grabbed by Josh Hazlwood. Dhwan got out after scoring brisk 30 of 23 runs. Indian skipper Viart  Kohli and Shreyas Iyer were at the crease. India were struggling at 71/2 at 11.4 overs 

2:01 pm: India were off to a cautious yet good start. Indian team were guarding their wickets and steadily building their inning. So far, they have been managed to keep a scoring rate around 8 runs an over. Mayank Agarawal was playing 18 runs off 17 balls, while Shikhar Dhwan was taking on bowlers with 28 runs in 18 balls. India were 47 without losing after the end of six over.  India vs Australia 

1:03 pm: Australia posted another massive total in the first inning of the second ODI of the three-match ODI series between India and Australia. Riding high on Steve Smith 104, Australia went on to post 389 for the loss of 4 wickets 

11:06 am: Australia lost its two set batsmen in quick succession. Aaron Finch was caught by Virat Kohli while attempting high flying shot of Mohammad Shami delivery at 60 runs off 69 balls, while quikest of the two, David Warner, was run out by Shreyas Aiyer.    

Earlier, Australia won the toss and opted to bat first against India in the second ODI at the Sydney Cricket Ground here on Sunday.

After winning the toss,  Asutralia was was strongly placed at 51 runs in 8.1 overs. David Warner was leading the attack with 37 runs in 29 balls, while Aaron Finch was playing cautiously by scoring 12 runs of 21 balls.

Australia secured a massive 66-run victory over India in the first ODI on Friday, taking a 1-0 lead over the visitors in the three-match series.

This being a three-match series means that it is a must-win game for the Virat Kohli-led team to keep themselves alive.Australia have made one change to their playing XI, bringing Moises Henriques in place of Marcus Stoinis.
