India reports 30,757 new Coronavirus cases in last 24 hours; Daily Positivity rate at 2.61%
India repored 30,757 new Coronavirus cases over the last 24 hours according to the data released by the Minsitry of Health and Family Welfare. This was marginally down from the cases reported till 7 am on Wednesday. The Daily Positivity rate reported stood at 2.61 per cent. Meanwhile, the Weekly Positivity Rate in the country currently stands at 3.04 per cent, the government data said.
India’s Active Caseload is presently at 332,918, the government release said. Active cases constituted 0.78 per cent of the country's total Positive Cases.

The data further said that 67,538 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours and the cumulative tally of recovered patients (since the beginning of the pandemic) was now at 4,19,10,984. Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.03 per cent, the release said.
On the vaccination front, more than 34.75 lakh Doses (34,75,951) vaccine doses in the last 24 hours, taking India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage to 174.24 Cr (1,74,24,36,288) as per provisional reports till 7 am today.
This has been achieved through 1,96,65,024 sessions.
The testing capacity across the country continues to be expanded, the release claimed. The last 24 hours saw a total of 11,79,705 tests being conducted. India has so far conducted over 75.55 Cr (75,55,32,460) cumulative tests.
