To make the 75th year of Independence even more special, Prime Minister Narendra Modi- led NDA government has launched a 'Har Ghar Tiranga' Campaign, which kick-started on Saturday. The campaign which calls for hoisting of the national flag in every house saw many BJP leaders, including Union ministers, joining the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' across the country as the three-day exercise began on Saturday to mark the 75th anniversary of India's Independence.
The day also saw NIDF, Chandigarh University, creating Guinness World Record for making largest human image of waving National Flag. The NID Foundation and Chandigarh University on Saturday created the Guinness World Record for formation of 'World's Largest Human Image of a Waving National Flag' when as many as 5885 students from Chandigarh University and other schools and colleges along with the volunteers of the NID Foundation of the UT and other dignitaries gathered for the flag formation at Chandigarh Cricket Stadium.
To make the campaign more successful, the Centre is also making available Indian flag via India Post.
One can order the flag online via epostoffice.gov.in by paying Rs 25.
"The national flag will be available without a pole and the dimensions will be 20 inches and 30 inches in length and width respectively," said the India post. .

Well, saffron symbolises courage and bravery, white stands for peace, green represents prosperity and growth and chakra symbolises truth and life.
The national flag was first hoisted on July 22, 1947 by the first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru.
