IMD Weather Heat Wave Alert: bout of harsh weather will continue in Delhi-NCR at least for the next four days as the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) said that the national capital region will face heat wave for the next four days. Not just that, but a red alert has also been issued for eight cities in Uttar Pradesh. The IMD has also predicted that the temperature in the Capital will reach 46 Degree Celsius.

Know the situation of the next 4 days

Talking about the weather of Delhi, the sky will be clear here today on May 21 and the temperature is expected to reach 44 Degree Celsius. But from tomorrow i.e. from May 22, the heat will become more severe.

The temperature of Delhi-NCR is expected to remain up to 45 degrees from May 22 to May 24. And on May 25, it can reach 46 degrees.

Meanwhile, the minimum temperature can also remain around 30 to 31 degrees. 

Red alert for Uttar Pradesh cities

Talking about UP, a red alert of heat wave has been issued for Agra, Mathura, Aligarh, Mahamaya Nagar, Firozabad, Jalaun, Jhansi and Lalitpur from May 21 to May 25.

An orange alert of heatwave has also been issued for 27 UP districts, including Prayagraj, Kanpur, Kannauj, Meerut, Hapur, Noida.

There is a possibility of rain and thundershowers at isolated places in eastern UP.

Meanwhile, winds are expected to blow at a speed of 25 to 35 kilometers per hour at some places in both eastern and western parts of UP.

There is also a possibility of rain with thunderstorms between May 21 and May 25 in some districts including the capital Lucknow, Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Ayodhya, Ambedkar Nagar.
