IIT Kharagpur recruitment 2019: Fresh vacancies for SRF, JRF, RA and other posts - last date April 16

IIT Kharagpur recruitment 2019: Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, (IIT-Kharagpur) has issued a recruitment notification for the posts of Senior Research Fellow, Junior Research Fellow, Research Associate and others. The last date for submission of the application form is April 16, 2019. The applicants may apply online in the prescribed format before the deadline come to close. 

The candidates must read the official notification carefully before applying for these posts to make sure that they have all the requisite educational qualifications and experience. They have to fulfil all the criteria, as stated in the official notification.

SRF/JRF: 2 posts
SRF/RA: 1 post
Project Officer: 1 post
Research  Consultant: 1 post

Educational qualification:
SRF/JRF: The candidates should hold a Masters Degree in related subject from any recognised university.
SRF/RA: The candidates should hold an M. Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation Engineering with valid GATE score and thesis/project in the area of image processing, computer vision, machine learning.
Project Officer: The applicants should hold a B.Tech or B.E in the related subject.
Research  Consultant: The candidates should hold a B.Tech in CSE from any recognised university.

Age limit:
SRF/JRF: The candidates should not be more than 30 years of age.
SRF/RA: The applicants should not be more than 35 years of age.
Project Officer: The candidates should be more than 27 years of age.

There is age relaxation for the reserved categories and women candidates in accordance with the government rules.
