IIT JAM 2020: The registration process for IIT JAM 2020 is set to begin from September 5, 2019 after IIT Kanpur released the IIT JAM 2020 admission schedule last month on August 11, 2019. Interested candidates should visit the official website - jam.iitk.ac.in to check the notification and then complete their online registration form. The last date to apply for IIT JAM 2020 is October 8, 2019.

According to the notification, online registration for IIT JAM 2020 will commence from September 5, 2019, while the last date for online completing the formality and uploading of documents on the website is October 8, 2019 (Upto 17:30 Hours). Candidates will be able to download their Admit card on January 7, 2020, while the results for JAM 2020 will be announced on March 20, 2020.

Submission of application form for admission on the JAM 2020 should be done on the official website from April 9 to April 22, 2020. Notably, the last date for receipt of the request to change the category in proper format/rectification of defective documents is May 4, 2020. 

Other important dates: 

1. The first admission list will be declared on June 1, 2020
2. The second admission list will be declared on June 16, 2020
3. The third and final admission list will come out on June 29, 2020
4. The admission process through JAM 2020 will close on July 03, 2020

The IIT JAM 2020 examination will be held online, which will be of 3 hours. The candidates will be asked 60 questions, and they will have to attempt 7 papers. The question paper will be of 100 marks.

IIT JAM 2020 registration: Candidates should know that JAM 2020 will be held for six subjects in two sessions. The first session will be from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm, while the second session will be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm.

The candidates will have attempt subjects including 1-Biotechnology (BT); 2-Physics (PH); 3-Mathematical statistics (MS), and the session two will be held for subjects including Mathematics (MA), Chemistry (CY), and Geology (GG).

Notably, Joint Admission Test for MSc (JAM) is conducted from 2004 onwards to provide admissions to MSc (Four Semesters), Joint MSc-PhD, MSc-PhD and Dual Degree programmes at the IITs and Integrated PhD Degree Programmes at IISc for Science students.
