In a proud moment for IIT Bombay, one of its students has received a jaw-dropping pre-placement offer. Sachin Rana, a 4th-year student pursuing Bachelor of Science - Chemistry, has been offered Rs 50 lakh in pre-placement by Unacademy. The latter is India's largest learning platform where Sachin has been sharing his knowledge as a teacher/educator from the first year of his graduation. He has also been associated with Unacademy for more than two years as one of their top educators for organic chemistry.

As an educator, Sachin has mentored multiple students, which also includes three students with under 100 ranking for JEE Advanced. He also has an active YouTube Channel called Sachin Rana [IITB], with over 148,000 subscribers, which is extremely popular amongst IIT aspirants. Through his videos on YouTube and Unacademy, he helps students prepare for JEE Main, NEET, JEE Advanced, AIIMS, BITSAT, Class XII Boards and many other examinations.
