The Institute of Banking Personal Selection (IBPS) has started the IBPS RRB Prelims examination from August 3, 2019. The examination is going to be held in different parts of the country from August 3 to August 25. The examination for Scale 1 Officer will be conducted on 3, 4 and 11 August, while the exam for the post of Office Assistant will be held on 17, 18 and 25 August. It will not be enough for the candidate to pass this competitive exam only, but it is also necessary to bring a good rank in the exam. There are around 8,400 posts available in various regional rural banks.

Exam pattern

The candidates will be asked 80 questions in the IBPS RRB prelims exam. In this online, exam the candidate will be asked objective type questions and negative marking of 0.25 will be given in case of a wrong question.

Reasoning - 40 marks

Numerical Ability - 40 marks

To pass both the examinations, the candidate must obtain a minimum cut off mark. The candidate is required to bring the required number in every subject, based on which the candidate will be shortlisted for IBPS RRB main examination.

Time Management

The candidate will be given 45 minutes for this entire paper. Every candidate is advised to not waste more than one minute on each question. A countdown will continue on the screen, keeping in mind that the candidate has to complete his exam on time. As soon as the countdown will reach zero, the exam will end after this, the candidate has to click on the submit button at the end.
