IBPS Clerk Recruitment 2018: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) through its notification has sought applications for the clerk exam 2018, organised through the Common Recruitment Process (CWE Clerk VIII). Interested candidates should check details on the IBPS's official website – ibps.in, as the application process is commencing from September 18, and will end on October 10.
 
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection is holding this examination for 7,275 posts of bank clerks. In 2016, the IBPS had organised the exams for 19,243 posts wherein, as many as 19 banks took part in the recruitment drive. The IBPS will conduct the online examination in two stages— preliminary and main. The preliminary test will be held in December. 
 
Important dates for IBPS Clerk recruitment 2018: 
 
Online application process begins on September 18 and continue till October 10. 
 
Candidates will be able to download pre-exam training call letter in the month of November, as pre-exam training will take place from November 26 to December 1, 2018.
 
Candidates will be able download their preliminary exam call letter in November, for the exam scheduled to be organised on December 8, 9, 15, and 16, 2018.
 
Eligibility for IBPS Clerk 2018: Candidates should be an Indian national, having all the requisite qualification as per the IBPS notification.
 
Educational qualification: Applicants must be graduate in any discipline from a recognised university or have any equivalent qualification recognised by the Central government. 
 
They should also have the working knowledge of computer systems, and must have passed in English as one of the subjects at SSC/ HSC/ Intermediate/ Graduation level.
