Indian Air Force recruitment 2019: IAF invites candidates to join as Airmen for February 2020 and AFCAT, NCC special and Meteorology entry for July 2020. The Airmen post are Group 'X' (except education instructor) Trades and Group 'Y' Trades (except IAF security and musician trades), and AFCAT entry in Flying, ground duty technical and non-technical branch.

The post of Airmen is only for Unmarried male citizens and eligible for Nepal citizen also, while AFCAT entry and other posts can be applied by men and women both.

The candidate need to pay Rs. 250 as the examination fee during the filling of application form.  

Important dates:
Online registration Date (Airmen): 1 July 2019-15 July 2019
Online registration Date (AFCAT): 30 June 2019 
Online exam Date (Airmen): 21 September 2019-24 September 2019
Online exam Date (AFCAT): 24 August 2019- 25 August 2019
 
Age:
For Airmen, the candidate upper age limit is 21 years.
 
For AFCAT entry, in flying branch, age should be between 20 years to 24 years as on 1 July 2020, and in ground duty (technical/non-technical), age should be 20 years to 26 years as on 1 July 2020. 

Educational Qualification:
Airmen Group 'X'
The candidate must have passed 12th or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from a recognised board of education with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and in English both or passed Three years Diploma Course in Engineering in any stream.

Airmen Group 'Y'
The candidate must have passed 12th or equivalent examination in any stream from a recognised board of education with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and in English both or have passed two years vocational course from recognised educational board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and in English both. 

While, for Medical Assistant Trade post, The candidate must have passed 12th or equivalent examination with  Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognised board of education with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and in English both. 

AFCAT entry:
For flying branch, candidate must possess a Bachelor Degree in any stream with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 Level.

For ground duty technical and non-technical branch, refer to the official notification on www.afcat.cdac.in/AFCAT.

NCC special entry:
The candidate must have NCC Air Wing Senior Division ’C’ certificate and must possess a Bachelor Degree in any stream with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 Level.

Meteorology Entry:
The candidate must have Post graduate degree in any science stream or mathematics or statics or Geography or computer application or oceonography or meteology or agriculture with minimum 50% marks aggregate. 

Pay scale:
During the training period of the candidates, they will be paid by Rs. 14,600 per month. after the completion of Training, candidates of Group 'X' will be paid by Rs. 33,100 per month while Group 'Y' will be paid by Rs. 26,900 per month. 

For AFCAT entry:
Rs. 56,100 – Rs.1,10,700
