IAF recruitment 2018 Group C: Indian Air Force (IAF) has invited application for 79 Group-C  jobs. Recruitment to these government jobs will be on the basis of written examination for all trades. The vacancies are in the category of Draughtsman, Multi Tasking Staff, Mess Staff, and Safaiwala/Safaiwali, Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Cook, and Painter.
Age Limit: From 18 to 25 years. There are age relaxation for the reserved category candidates.

Last date for accepting the application for the positions is June 3. The question paper in the examination for the vacant positions will be provided in English and Hindi. General English question paper is required to be answered in English language only.  The medium of language once filled in the Application form by the candidate will not be changed at the later stage. Date and time of the test will be intimated by post. The department will not provide TA/DA to the candidates for attending the test.  Applicants have to make their own arrangement for accommodation during the test, the circular said.

Selected candidates are likely to be on All India Service liabilities and  all the applicants fulfilling the basic selection criteria may not be called for test.
Armed Forces personnel who are serving are eligible for applying for civil posts after 
completing the prescribed period of Service within a year from the last date of receipt of application.

How to fill application:

The application has to be filled in given format duly typed in English/Hindi on foolscap paper. A recent (Passport size 4.5 x 3.5 centimetres) photo copy duly self-attested by the candidate shall be pasted in the prescribed place. Candidates have to send self-attested photocopies of certificate supporting Date of birth, Educational qualification, Experience etc. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-serviceman have to enclose self-attested photocopies of the certificate issued by the competent authority. For sending the application, envelope should be 24x11 Centimetres in size. Candidates can also send self-attested photo copies of documents supporting their candidature i.e. sports, cultural activities.
