HSSC recruitment 2018: Total posts: 18218. 

Educational qualification and experience: 

- Matriculation from a recognized board
-Hindi/Sanskrit up to matriculation, as one of the subject. 

HSSC recruitment 2018 Age limit- 18-42 years. 

Salary: Rs 16900-53500 + applicable special pay

Application fees: For General Category male/female candidates, the application fee is Rs 100. For female residents of Haryana, the fee is Rs 50. For SC/BC candidates of Haryana the application fee are Rs 50 and Rs 25 respectively. There is no charge for Physically Handicapped or Ex-Serviceman of Haryana.

HSSC recruitment 2018 Selection process: The candidates will have to take a test of total 90 marks and their socio-economic criteria and experience will weigh 10 marks. 

Candidates will be assigned departments after selection on the basis of merit in the written examination, experience and socio-economic criteria. 

Written test: It will have two sections
- 75% weightage for General Awareness, Reasoning, Maths, Science, English, Hindi as applicable. 

- 25% weightage for History, Current Affairs, Literature, Geography, Civics, Environment, Culture of Haryana. 

Marks to be allocated for experience and some objective socio-economic criteria:

a) If no person among family members of the candidate is, was, or has been in a government job (5 marks)

b) Orphan/Widow: 5 marks, subject to certain conditions. 

c. 5 marks for candidates belonging to a denotified tribe. 

d. Maximum of 8 marks for over six- month work experience in any department/board/corporation/company/statutory body/commission/authority of the government of Haryana
