Forgot IRCTC login id? Here is how to recover

While making an IRCTC login ID passengers need to provide various details and identity proofs and enter security question, Name (First Name, Last Name), Gender, Marital Status, Occupation, Date of Birth, Email – ID, Mobile Number, address and other details. After successful registration on IRCTC ticketing website, you will be able to log in through User ID and Password created at the time of registration. One should also know that once you create your account in IRCTC you will be by default registered with www.irctctourism.com. After this long process what to do if you forget your User ID? No need to worry as here are the steps on how to recover your lost details:-

In case if you have forgotten your IRCTC login ID then you need to follow these steps:
1. Go to the IRCTC official website https://www.irctctourism.com/ and click on 'login' option.
2. Select option 'Forgot user ID'.
3. In the new window, you will be required to enter your email ID, date of birth and captcha code. 
4. After filling the required information, click on submit.

Once the process will be done the User ID will be sent to the registered email ID which you have entered while creating the IRCTC login ID and one can again use their user ID and log in to your IRCTC account. One should also know that one cannot change their IRCTC user login ID.
