How to generate ICICI Bank ATM credit, debit cards PIN: Getting a plastic card from ICICI Bank or any other bank via postage doesn't mean you can start your bank ATM transactions instantly. To begin a transaction, you need to generate your bank ATM PIN by visiting the nearest machine or log in to their internet banking. Remember, via post, the ICICI Bank and various other banks send some instructions that are useful though very few people read that as they are more interested in the transaction than instructions. So, for those, who failed to read those instructions, here are the step by step instructions that one can follow to generate PIN for their ICIC Bank credit card, debit card etc.

To generate PIN of the credit card, debit card PIN, one can either go to the nearest bank ATM of the same bank or login to the internet banking of if they have the password to the net banking. Net banking users should login to their Internet Banking Account using User ID and Password then click on 'MY CARD PIN' or 'Debit Card Pin' then click on the Generate now by taking the cursor there and enter the required details and submit. Afterward, OTP will be sent on your registered mobile number. Enter debit card grid values, OTP received and click on submit. Enter 4 digit card PIN, re-confirm debit card pin and click on 'generate now.'

However, those who are not internet savvy, need to visit the nearest ATM of the same bank and follow the instructions given below step by step:

Pin generation through ATM:
Step 1: Insert your ATM / Debit Card
Step 2: On the Language screen, Select “Generate PIN / Forgot PIN” option
Step 3: Select “Generate OTP” option.
Step 4: Enter the registered mobile number.
Step 5: Enter Date of Birth as registered with Bank in DDMMYYYY format
 
OTP will be delivered on your registered mobile number through SMS.
 
Generation of ATM PIN after OTP is received:
Step 1: Insert your ATM / Debit Card.
Step 2: On the Language screen, Select “Generate PIN / Forgot PIN” option.
Step 3: Select “Already have OTP, Generate ATM PIN” option.
Step 4: Enter OTP received on the registered mobile number.
Step 5: Enter your new ATM PIN.
Step 6: Re-enter your new ATM PIN.
 
PIN will be successfully generated.

Pin generation through Internet Banking:
Step 1: Please login to your Internet Banking Account using the User ID and Password > Click on MY CARD PIN > Debit Card Pin > Generate now> Enter the required details and Submit.
Step 2: OTP will be sent on the registered mobile number.
Step 3: Enter debit card grid values, OTP received and click on submit
Step 4: Enter 4 digit card PIN, re-confirm debit card pin and click on 'generate now.'
