Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, registration: To mark the 75th year of Independence, the government has started the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign as a part of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his monthly radio programme 'Mann Ki Baat' also talked about the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative and urged the citizens to turn the campaign into a mass movement by hoisting or displaying the national flag at their homes and using the Tricolour as display picture of their social media accounts.

As of August 1, as many as 53 lakh flags have been pinned and more than 7 lakh selfies with Tricolour have been uploaded on the portal.

Har Ghar Tiranaga drawing, quizzes and other competitions are also being organised in different parts of the country by schools and institutions to instill the feeling of patriotism.
