Constituency No.105 Bhavnagar West is an Assembly Vidhan Sabha seat in Saurashtra region and Bhavnagar district of Gujarat.

Bhavnagar West is part of Bhavnagar Parliamentary constituency. This seat is categorised for general urban i.e the seat is not reserved for scheduled Castes (SCs) or scheduled tribes (STs).

The Gujrat state Assembly polls were held in two phases, the first phase in 89 seats was held on December 1. The second phase was held on December 5 for 93 seats.

In the Gujarat election 2017, BJP candidate Jitendrabhai Savajibhai Vaghani (Jitu Vaghani) won Bhavnagar West Assembly constituency seat after securing 83701 votes. The BJP Jitendrabhai Savajibhai Vaghani defeated Congress Maru Pravinbhai Tidabhai by a margin of 27185.  

In 2017, Bhavnagar West constituency had 241893 voters, including 126012 males and 115855 females. The Bhavnagar West assembly constituency saw a voter turnout of 54.836% in 2017. As per the Election Commission, a total number of 1,621 candidates contested in the Gujarat elections.
