The government is launching the U-Win app to keep track of the vaccination status of children and pregnant women. The app aims to provide vaccination details of both at any time. For the U-win app operation, the govt is training employees. The date of the launch has yet to be announced.

The U-Win app will help in booking jab slots, sending reminders before and on the due date, maintaining records, and issuing certificates for vaccination.

The programme to digitise India's Universal Immunisation Programme (UIP) has been launched in pilot mode in two districts of all Indian states, and Union Territories.

U-Win Portal: E-card

After registration on U-Win, the user will get an e-card on which dates of vaccination can be tracked, including previous and future dates.

It will provide immunisation against 12 vaccine-preventable diseases. It is done nationally against 11 diseases — diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, polio, measles, rubella, a severe form of childhood tuberculosis, rotavirus diarrhoea, hepatitis B,  meningitis and pneumonia, caused by Haemophilus, Influenza type B and pneumococcal pneumonia and sub-nationally against 1 disease - Japanese Encephalitis.

Co-Win app

During the pandemic, the government launched the Co-Win app, which became so famous. People used it to register for their COVID-19 vaccination. The app can be used to book vaccination slots and get certificates.
