Government implements new regulations for CCTV and video surveillance equipment purchases

The government has introduced mandatory limits on home appliance components within these products. The increase will be implemented gradually, with a review scheduled after the commencement of semiconductor fabrication in India.

A minimum local content requirement of 47% by FY 2026-2027 has been set.
