Government encourages self-registration for GST
The government is encouraging business for online self-registration for GST instead of going through external agencies even after the deadline expires on April 30.
"Better register online for GST yourself instead of taking agencies or other companies' help," Service Tax-I Commissionerate North Division Ashutosh Sharma said during a GST migration camp organised by CII.

Should you face any problem while registering, feel free to approach us for easier and faster solutions, he said adding that businesses are advised to adhere to the extended deadline of April 30 for GST enrolment.
Complaints were raised about problems and confusion about registration by the participants who were mostly from MSME sector.
