Union Minister for Civil Aviation Hardeep Singh Puri has said that 58 more flight will be added to evacuate stranded Indians in the Gulf Countries while 80 flights to Europe and 10 more flights to US-Canada have been added under the Vande Bharat Mission Phase 3. The Civil Aviation Minister said that Phase-3 of the mission starts now.

After the addition of these flights the total number of flights added in the Phase -3 is 165 in Gulf countries, 80 flights to Europe and 80 flights to US-Canada.

Union Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri informed about in a series of tweets. In his tweet for the Indian stranded in Gulf countries Puri said, "58 more flights added to evacuate stranded & distressed Indian citizens from Gulf countries between now & 30th June 2020. Starting immediately, the number of flights from Gulf under phase-3 of Vande Bharat Mission now increased from originally planned 107 to 165."

For the Indians stranded in Europe, US-Canada after the COVID-19 pandemic Puri had this good news, "Significant decisions to further ramp up Vande Bharat. Starting immediately, Phase 3 of VBM will have 80 flights to Europe (2 daily flights to London & 2 to other European destinations) between now & 30 June; & 10 more flights to US-Canada in addition to 70 already announced."
