According to renowned astrologer Dr. Arvind Mishra, the Chaturthi Tithi of Shukla Paksha in the Bhadrapada month will commence on the 18th of September at 12:39 PM and extend until 1:43 PM on the 19th of September. Consequently, Ganesh Chaturthi will be celebrated on the 19th of September.
The propitious time for the installation of Lord Ganpati on this day is from 10:50 AM to 12:52 AM, with the most auspicious moment being from 12:52 AM to 2:56 AM.
What is the right way to install the Ganesha idol?
On the day of Ganesh Chaturthi, it is customary to rise early, bathe, and don clean attire.
Cleanse the household shrine and adorn your home in anticipation of Bappa's arrival.
In the north-east corner, place a wooden pedestal covered with a red or yellow cloth.
At the appointed time, bring the Ganapati idol home and place it on the pedestal.
