Game Over box office collection: Taapsee Pannu and Vinodhini Vaidyanathan film, which has been released in three languages-Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, has failed to make a mark in the face of competition from Salman Khan's Bharat, which is dominating the domestic box office. Directed by Ashwin Saravananm, Game Over is a psychological drama that wastes no time on song and dance sequences. In 100-something minutes, the film manages to give its viewers a thrilling time.

On its opening day performance, the film failed to have a remarkable beginning as it could earn merely Rs 0.50 lakh, Film critic and trade analyst Sumit Kadel tweeted, "#GameOver off to a DISASTROUS start at the box office. Shows getting cancelled at many centers because of no audience. Film will struggle to collect even ₹ 50 lakhs today."

Produced by S. Sashikanth, the story of Game Over revolves around the theme of fighting demons inside as well as outside world by the chief protagonist.

Film actor Taapsee Pannu appears to be very excited with her later release, the reason, she has tweeted on June 14 as, "Swapna is now yours.... you can like her story, or not like her story but she is going to make sure you will have a crazy ride once you enter her world. It did take a lot out of me to be her, I hope a part of it reaches your heart too. GAME ON."

Even as the film released in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages, it was originally shot in Telugu and Tamil. Notably, Anurag Kashyap has dubbed this movie in Hindi. Prior to its release, the film was screened for celebrities and selected audiences including the media.

Although the film has received positive reviews and Taapsee's performance is being lauded heavily by critics, the impact on audience is yet to be seen.
