Flag of India: As a part of the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign, the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) along with fishermen recently unfurled the Tricolour in the Bay of Bengal. The video has now gone viral on the internet. The 22-second clip was shared by the Indian Coast Guard on its Twitter page on July 29. "As part of Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, Indian Coast Guard performed an underwater flag demo at Sea. The idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag," new agency ANI reported quoting ICG officials.
To mark Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav the Ministry of Culture started the 'HarGharTiranga' initiative. In the 75th year of our independence, the government has urged citizens to proudly hoist the national flag atop their homes and upload their photos on harghartiranga.com.
