Noida International Airport, Jewar: It's a big development in terms of much awaited and anticipated Noida Internation Airport at Jewar region of Gautam Buddha Nagar district of 
Uttar Pradesh. Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL) has selected ICAD Holding Ltd. as Master System Integrator (MSI) consultant for the development of Noida International Airport (NIA).

ICAD has partnered exclusively with Wipro Limited and Ross & Baruzzini from USA to provide comprehensive MSI consultancy services.

 

YIAPL is a 100% subsidiary of Zurich Airport International AG, which has been incorporated as a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to develop the greenfield Noida International Airport in Jewar. 

Noida International Airport: What ICAD will be taking care of? 

-ICAD will support NIA with the systems integration design, integration program management and integration of ICT and Airport Systems. 

-ICAD will also lead the core airport systems implementation and integration.

- A statement said that ICAD, a global technology corporation, is known as a specialist for design, installation, integration, and maintenance of ICT systems required to build a modern, digital airport.

Noida International Airport - What all is coming up?

- NIA will set a new benchmark as a digital airport, with the implementation of state-of-the-art technology to provide a seamless and mostly contactless flow through the airport. 

-This will be supported by integrated systems, services and the use of technologies such as indoor navigation, passenger flow management, and data analytics. 

-The digital environment to be set up at NIA includes paperless digital processing across all checkpoints in line with the Indian Ministry of Civil Aviation’s DigiYatra Policy

Strengthening its focus on Aviation/Airports and Emerging Technologies, ICAD Group announced its foothold into the Indian Market. A Letter of Intent (LOI) was signed between Christoph Schnellmann CEO - Noida International Airport, Ghassan Sayegh CEO ICAD Group, Syed Feroz Mehdi - Director - International Operations - ICAD. 

After the LOI Signing Ceremony for the Master System Integration (MSI) Consultancy Project with Noida International Airport, the ICAD group set the ball rolling with a press conference announcing the commencement of Indian Operations at Le Meridien, Connaught Place, New Delhi. 

The Press Conference was addressed by Feroz Mehdi, Director, ICAD and Ghassan Sayegh, Group CEO, ICAD & their project partners Wipro represented by Jasvinder Singh, Head Enterprise Cluster, Wipro Limited.

Speaking on ICAD’s foray into the emerging Indian Aviation Market, Ghassan Sayegh, Group CEO, ICAD Group said, "India is an emerging market & we at the ICAD Group will work closely with YIAPL & other Airport Companies/AAI to deliver signature airport projects in India through the Indian subsidiary – ICAD Airports Pvt. Earlier, the Government of Uttar Pradesh signed the concession agreement with Yamuna International Airport Private Limited (YIAPL) on October 7, 2020, to commence the development of the Noida International Airport (NIA) at Jewar. 

YIAPL will be responsible for implementing the Public-Private Partnership project together with the Government of Uttar Pradesh, New Okhla Industrial Development Authority, and Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority.
