EPFO Assistant Preliminary exam 2019: Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) is likely to announce the results for EPFO Assistant Preliminary exam 2019 soon at its official website- epfindia.gov.in. Those who appeared for the preliminary examination would be able to check their results on the EPFO website. The candidates who will qualify the preliminary examination will have to take the main examination. Notably, the preliminary exams was held on July 30 and July 31, 2019.

2. They should click on the link displayed on the homepage
3. Now enter the required details and submit
4. You can see your result on the homepage 
5. Download your result and take a printout for further use

Selection process: This process comprises the preliminary examination and main examination, which will consist of 230 marks for 153 questions that candidates have to solve in 2 hours 45 minutes. The main exams will have negative marking wherein for each wrong answer, one-fourth of the mark assigned to that question will be deducted. The marks obtained in Phase – II will be considered for final selection. 

Notably, EPFO is one of the world's largest Social Security Organisations in terms of clientele and the volume of financial transactions undertaken. Currently, it maintains 17.14 crore accounts (Annual Report 2015-16) pertaining to its members. The Employees' Provident Fund came into existence with the promulgation of the Employees' Provident Funds Ordinance on the 15th November 1951. It was replaced by the Employees' Provident Funds Act, 1952.

The Employees' Provident Funds Bill was introduced in Parliament to provide for the institution of provident funds for employees in factories and other establishments. The Act is now referred to as the Employees' Provident Funds & Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952.
