Earthquake in India today: Border region jolted by 4.5 magnitude quake, says IMD

Earthquake in India: The earthquake, which was measured at 4.5 magnitude on the Richter scale struck the Myanmar-India Border region today.

On Monday, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that, "An earthquake of magnitude 4.5 on the Richter scale struck the Myanmar-India Border region".

The quake occurred at 06:42 am today. IMD tweeted, "Earthquake of Magnitude:4.5, Occurred on:02-12-2019, 06:42:44 IST, Lat:23.1 N & Long: 93.7 E, Depth: 12 Km, Region: Myanmar-India Border Region." 

No loss of life, injury or damage from the earthquake has been reported.
