Earthquake in Haryana: A low-intensity earthquake hit Delhi-NCR today around 3:32 pm according to the National Centre for Seismology. The magnitude of the earthquake was 2.8 on the Richter scale with the epicentre near Haryana's Rohtak district.

The epicentre was some 17 km east-southeast of Rohtak.

This has been among a series of earthquakes that have hit the Delhi-NCR region since 12 April. A PTI report puts the total number of earthquakes at 18. Out of the 18 that have been recorded, 8 earthquakes had epicentre around the Rohtak region.

On Wednesday, the last earthquake struck Rohtak with an intensity of 2.8 on the Richter scale. Tremors were felt in the national capital and nearby region.
