Earthquake in Delhi, Noida today, Earthquake News Latest, Earthquake in Ghaziabad, Lucknow, Kanpur: A minor earthquake occurred in Delhi on Tuesday night. According to the National Centre for Seismology, an earthquake of magnitude 2.5 jolted Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad and neighbouring cities at around 9.30 pm.

The epicentre of the quake was 8 km west of New Delhi, according to the National Centre for Seismology.

No reports of any casualty or damage have been reported so far. 

“Earthquake of Magnitude:2.5, Occurred on 29-11-2022, 21:30:10 IST, Lat: 28.61 & Long: 77.12, Depth: 5 Km ,Location: 8km W of New Delhi, India,” National Centre for Seismology said in a Tweet.

A few days ago, an earthquake of magnitude 4.1 had jolted Himachal Pradesh's Mandi. Tremors were also felt in Delhi-NCR.

Recently, massive earthquakes, which claimed many lives and damaged properties, were witnessed in Indonesia and Nepal.

On November 21, a deadly earthquake of 5.6 magnitude hit West Java in Indonesia, killing 321 people. The quake also left 7,729 people injured in Cianjur district, one of the hardest-hit areas, destroyed 58,049 houses and displaced as many as 73,693 people

On November 9, an earthquake of magnitude 6.3 hit Nepal, killing six people besides damaging several houses. The tremors of this quake were also felt in Delhi-NCR.
