Diwali Muhurat trading 2019 window opens: Traders can bet now; Sensex, Nifty up

After opening at over 1 percent higher during the Diwali Muhurat trading 2019 pre-market, BSE Sensex continued to stay at higher trajectory during the special trading session. At 18:17 pm, the BSE index was at 39,279.97, which is 221.91 points or 0.57 percent higher over the previous day's closing price. NSE's Nifty50 was also trading 55.7 points or 0.48 percent higher at 11,639.6 level. Tata Motors, YES Bank, Infosys, Eicher Motors, and Vedanta are the top gainers on the NSE. Banking and pharma shares are doing well.
People who are eagerly waiting to put their bet and make money on this auspicious day for trading can now do it. The investors who are wishing to put a bet today must do some research on shares before putting money on stocks. Many people who do not trade on the stock market also take part during the Muhurat trading to try their luck.
The Muhurat trading window will be available for trading from 6:15 pm to 7:15 pm. Trading window is open on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE) for the special session on Diwali. Many believe that gains made during this session bring prosperity and wealth in the year ahead. The investors can trade in equities and derivatives during the special session.
The stock market will remain closed on Monday after the Muhurat trading session on Sunday, and the next normal trading will take place on October 29 (Tuesday).
