If you have still not received your Aadhaar card via post, then do not worry, UIDAI allows you to download the digital print, which holds the same validity like carrying a physical card.
The procedure to apply for Aadhaar card is very simple. All you have to do is visit your nearest enrolment centre, provide necessary documents, biometric data and you will be given a receipt immediately. Now this enrolment receipt also comes with a number which currently can be used like Aadhaar card itself, until you get your original copy, which will include 12-digit biometric random numbers provided from the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI). It generally takes a few weeks for the original Aadhaar card to get delivered. However, what do you do if you haven’t received your Aadhaar card via post. The Aadhaar comes in the form of a laminated plastic card and carries your photograph, name, address, birth date, Aadhaar number along with biometric. Interestingly, if you still have not received this card via post, then do not worry UIDAI allows you to download the digital print, which holds the same validity as the physical card.
UIDAI via its Twitter account said, “Did not get Aadhaar by post? #GetAadhaar online from: eaadhaar.uidai.gov.in. The downloaded Aadhaar is a digitally signed document that is as valid as the physical Aadhaar Letter.”

Step 1 - Visit uidai.gov.in.
Step 2 - Enter your enrolment id, full name and pincode.
Step 3 - Enter the One-Time-Password received on your Aadhaar registered mobile number.
Step 4 - Aadhaar is downloaded on your system
It needs to be noted that, the downloaded Aadhaar is a password protected document, hence, you must have a login id at UIDAI.
