Dhadak box office collection day 1: Janhvi Kapoor, Ishaan Khatter movie is set to earn Rs 25 crore and that is because both these actors are newcomers and even though the former is in the news, it is not going to get anywhere near Ranbir Kapoor starrer Sanju collection. Dhadak collection on day 1 is expected at Rs 6 crore and the opening weekend earnings are expected at Rs 25 crore. This was revealed by trade analyst Akshaye Rathi exclusively to  Zoomtv.com.

While Dhadak collection may not be able to emulate Sanju, it will definitely be the last blow to the Ranbir Kapoor starrer which has been running and dominating cinemas for weeks now to earn as much as Rs 321.57 crore! The interest around Dhadak centres on the fact that Janhvi Kapoor's superstar mother Sridevi passed away recently and everyone is curious to see how her daughter will do on debut. Also, her father is Bollywood film producer of considerable repute, Boney Kapoor. 

Not just that, there are other factors that are pointing towards a positive momentum for Dhadak collection. Amongst the other top ones are that this movie is being produced by Karan Johar, whose skills at generating hit movies is second to none. And he is a past master at launching actors in filmdom successfully too.

Dhadak collection can also take heart from the fact that it is based on a very successful movie. That was Marathi blockbuster Sairat, which was a Rs 100 crore movie! If Dhadak collection reaches anywhere near the century mark, then it would have proven to be the best launching pad for both Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter.
