Delhi is likely to receive rain every day till June 29 and the temperature will also remain below 40 degrees Celsius, according to India Meteorological Department (IMD).

On June 25, IMD predicted that it would generally be a cloudy sky and thunderstorm with very light rain accompanied by gusty winds.

Last evening (June 24) also, some parts of Delhi received rainfall. The maximum temperature was recorded at 40.4 degrees Celsius and the minimum was 28.6 degree Celsius.

Officials said some parts of the city, including Lutyens' Delhi, Pitampura, and Palam, received light pre-monsoon showers. Light rain is forecast for other parts of the city.
