Delhi Metro: DMRC imposes temporary speed restrictions between Chhatarpur and Sultanpur stations on Yellow Line due to tunnel construction
DMRC is making three corridors in the new Tughlakabad-Delhi Aerocity route with 15 stations. It has announced the new colour code of the Tughlakabad to Delhi Aerocity corridor. The new line will be known as the Golden Line (earlier Silver Line).
The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has imposed a temporary speed restriction of 20 kmph between the Chhatarpur and Sultanpur stations on Yellow Line due to tunnel construction, it informed on Tuesday, April 2, through X.
In a tweet, DMRC said, "A temporary speed restriction of 20 KMPH has been imposed between Chhatarpur & Sultanpur on Yellow Line due to construction of a tunnel for the Aerocity-Tughlakabad corridor of Ph 4. This may cause a slight delay in services."

The new corridor is expected to be completed in 2025.
DMRC is also constructing two more corridors which are under construction. These include the extension of the Magenta Line from JanakpuriWest to RK Ashram and the extension of the Pink Line from Majlis Park to Maujpur.
