The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has announced that starting August 25, train services on Phase-III sections will begin at 6 AM on Sundays, a significant shift from the usual 8 AM start. This adjustment is expected to greatly benefit commuters, including students and applicants appearing for competitive exams, which are frequently scheduled on Sundays.

Anuj Dayal, the DMRC's Principal Executive Director of Corporate Communication, shared that this change aims to provide seamless and convenient travel for those needing to reach various destinations across Delhi-NCR early in the morning.

The Phase-III sections include key routes such as Dilshad Garden-Shaheed Sthal, Noida City Centre-Noida Electronic City, Mundka-Brigadier Hoshiar Singh, Badarpur Border-Raja Nahar Singh (Ballabhgarh), Majlis Park-Shiv Vihar, Janakpuri West-Botanical Garden, and Dhansa Bus Stand-Dwarka.

"This revision in service timings will benefit commuters on these corridors and assist a significant number of students and exam applicants in reaching their centers across Delhi-NCR conveniently," Dayal said.

He added that services on all other corridors of the Delhi Metro network would continue to operate as per the regular schedule, starting from 6 AM onwards.
