Many Delhi Metro daily commuters face the last-mile connectivity problems, as many of them stay miles away from stations. With Uber India signing a partnership pact with DMRC, these passengers now will have more last-mile connectivity options. Under the partnership, a passenger can book an Uber from 210 Metro stations in Delhi. Now, the Uber users will get this additional option on the app. There will be "Public Transport" as an option alongside UberGo, Pool, and Premier. The app users now will have better information about public transport and they will be able to plan their journey accordingly. The app will also have information about the location of Metro stations and schedules.
The passengers who use public transport like Delhi Metro and private vehicles for the connected journey have better information. The passengers can track their own journey on the app and can also find nearest metro stations on their route. This will help them in end-to-end journey plan.
