Delhi Lok Sabha Election 2024: As the country gears up for the sixth phase of the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections 2024, so does the national capital of Delhi, where polling for all seven parliamentary constituencies will take place on Saturday, May 25, at 7 a.m.

This is the first time that the capital will go to the polls, where voting will take place in all seven seats, including—Chandni Chowk, North East Delhi, East Delhi, New Delhi, North West Delhi, West Delhi, and South Delhi.

This term, there is a two-party race in the Delhi Lok Sabha Election between the Congress-Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) alliance and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

In the national capital, the BJP is vying for all seven Lok Sabha seats. Meanwhile, the AAP is vying for four seats in New Delhi, South Delhi, West Delhi, and East Delhi, while the Congress is vying for three seats in North East Delhi, North West Delhi, and Chandni Chowk, as per their seat-sharing arrangement.

BJP's Bansuri Swaraj and AAP's Somnath Bharti are two of the main contenders for the New Delhi seat, while BJP's Manoj Tiwari and Congress' Kanhaiya Kumar will compete for the North East Delhi seat among key candidates contesting in Delhi. In addition to that, a total of 51 seats from seven other states will cast their vote on May 25.
