Delhi Election Result: On account of Delhi Assembly Elections 2020 counting today, the Delhi Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory for the daily commuters as due to the election counting few of the regular routes have been closed while some have been diverted. To contain problems for the regular commuters, the Delhi Police issued a traffic advisory on the Delhi Traffic Police twitter (official) handle. The Delhi Traffic Police Twitter handle tweeted four tweets today informing Delhi commuters about the route changes or closure.

In the first tweet from the Delhi Traffic Police Twitter handle the Delhi traffic police informed citing, "Traffic movement is closed from Muni Maya Ram Marg to Kasturba Gandhi polytechnic college Pitampura due to vote counting. Motorists are advised to take alternate route via Netaji Subhash Marg and Shalimar Bagh. Traffic movement will remain closed from sector 6/7 crossing towards Shakti Chowk  Dwarka  &  Rudra cut to T- Point due to vote counting."

The Delhi Traffic Police also decided to close the route from Maharani Bagh to CV Raman marg. Delhi Traffic Police informed in a tweet citing, "Traffic movement is closed from Maharani Bagh to C.V. Raman Marg & Mata Mandir to C.V. Raman Marg (Both Carriageways) due to vote counting . Motorists are advised to take alternate route."

The Delhi Traffic Police had to close some routes in the Trans-Yamuna region also. The Delhi Trffic Police informed about the closure of route tweeting, "Traffic movement is closed from Nand Nagri to Bhopura (Both Carriageways) due to vote counting . Motorists are advised to take alternate route."
