Delhi air quality nears very poor category on Wednesday: Check AQI of Bengaluru, Mumbai and other cities
Delhi AQI Today: The maximum temperature is likely to settle at 25 degrees Celsius, the India Meteorological Department said. The overall Air Quality Index (AQI) of Delhi stood at 323 at 8 am, better than 354 at 4 pm on Tuesday.
Delhi AQI Today: The air quality in the national capital region was recorded as "very poor" on Wednesday morning. The minimum temperature settled at 9.6 degrees Celsius which is a notch below normal.
The maximum temperature is likely to settle at 25 degrees Celsius, the India Meteorological Department said. Yesterday, it settled at 24.1 degrees Celsius (December 6).
The overall Air Quality Index (AQI) of Delhi stood at 323 at 8 am, better than 354 at 4 pm on Tuesday.
It should be noted that the pollution levels in the capital surged to severe levels on Sunday, the Commission for Air Quality Management directed authorities in Delhi-NCR to implement curbs under the stage 3 of the Graded Response Action Plan, including a ban on the non-essential construction work.
How to measure AQI?
An AQI between zero and 50 is considered 'good', 51 and 100 'satisfactory', 101 and 200 'moderate', 201 and 300 'poor', 301 and 400 'very poor', and 401 and 500 'severe'.
